Dr. Couto is a former professor of Internal Medicine and Oncology at The Ohio State University and is an internationally recognized expert in the fields of veterinary oncology, hematology and greyhound medicine. Dr. Couto has long been considered a pioneer and expert in greyhound and sighthound medicine. Couto Veterinary Consultants (CVC) provides consultation and second-opinion on clinical patients by email with follow-up by telephone or videoconferencing as needed. CVC offers consultation services and educational opportunities in veterinary and comparative oncology, hematology, cytology, clinical pathology, transfusion medicine and sighthound medicine.

4 Greyhounds Veterinary Service — Jenifer V. Barker, DVM
Dr. Barker, former state of Wisconsin Senior Veterinarian at Dairyland Greyhound Race Track, provides veterinary services to several greyhound adoption groups. Dr. Barker’s service include viewing X-rays, digital pictures or short video of greyhound problems via email or text; reviewing blood work and medical records; and providing physical and lameness examinations. Dr. Barker advises adopters and their veterinarians of an appropriate treatment plan.
